Formula P3 Metallic

Formula P3 Metallic is the companion to the main P3 range and the smallest range on the whole site, just 18 colors. Every one is a metallic, which is the point: these are the golds, silvers, bronzes, and steels that P3's opaque range deliberately leaves out, so the two are designed to be owned together rather than apart.

For 18 paints it covers the metal spectrum sensibly. There is a run of steels from bright to dark, a set of golds and brasses in warm and cool variants, and the coppers and bronzes that armor and weathering schemes lean on. The palette skews slightly dark and warm overall, in keeping with P3's muted, industrial identity, so these metals read as worn and functional rather than flashy.

Because metallics are their own category, they do not convert to or from opaque colors; a same-color match from a normal range will look nothing like metal on the model. If you paint in P3 and want your gold to match the range's character, this is where it comes from. If you already own metallics from another brand, you can skip it and lose little.
