21 texture, effect, and utility paints that do jobs a normal color cannot.

About the Technical range
Technical is the odd one out, 21 paints that are less about color and more about effect. Some build texture for bases, some add gloss or matte finish, some are mediums that change how other paints behave, and a few create specific effects like rust, blood, or verdigris. Treating these as ordinary colors is a mistake; each does one particular job.
Because of that, the swatch colors here can mislead. A texture paint's color matters less than its grit, and a medium may dry clear regardless of how it looks in the pot. This is the one range where you should read what a paint does before matching it by color, since there is usually no cross-brand equivalent for a specific effect.
For most painters the Technical range is a pick-and-choose situation: you buy the two or three effects your projects actually need, a basing texture, a gloss coat, maybe a blood or rust effect, rather than the whole set.
